The water plants are green and shiny, and it is not interesting to grow in a water tank. In breeding, sandy soil should be used as the base sand culture medium to ensure that the thickness of the bottom sand is clear during the process of sowing grass seeds. When maintaining grass seeds, attention should be paid to water, light, temperature, etc., and the effect of carbon dioxide on the growth of aquatic plants should be taken into account.
Aquatic plants, as the name suggests, are herbs cultivated in water tanks. For planting seeds of aquatic plants, the choice of bottom sand is more important. Compared with soil, sandy soil is looser and less polluting in water. The varieties of coarse river sand, black sand and white sand commonly sold on the market are more suitable.
The seeds of aquatic plants are directly sown on the sandy soil at the bottom of the tank to ensure that the thickness of the bottom sand is about 2 cm. After the sowing work is completed, there is no need to cover it with other water grass mud, to ensure that the water grass seeds can have a good breathing environment, and spray a little water mist on it to ensure that the bottom sand feels slightly damp.
In addition to watering and dampness, it should also be covered with plastic film to keep warm and moisturizing, and poke holes on it for ventilation. The growth temperature range of aquatic plants can be controlled at 25~30℃, and the watering and water quality are healthy, and the light and warmth are sufficient, and they can germinate in less than a week. At the same time, pay attention to adding appropriate carbon dioxide to maintain the normal development of aquatic plants.
4. Matters needing attention
Whether it is in the process of sowing or maintenance, it is not allowed to over-protect the growing environment of aquatic plants. For example, the seeds should not be buried too deep in the bottom sand, and the water should be gently irrigated when watering. The intensity of the light used for lighting should not be too strong, and the bottom substrate should be kept moist at all times. And consider the impact of carbon dioxide on the growth of aquatic plants.
