Storage Instructions:

1. Tear the tab to filling in the breast milk.

2. Carefully pour the breast milk into storage bag.

3. Leave some space on the top to allow for expansion when milk freezes.

4. Seal the zipper of the storage bag.

5. Label the storage bag with date and time and put in freezer or refrigerator

Guidelines for Storing & Thawing Breast Milk

Freshly Pumped Breast milk

Room Temperature 19-22 °C - 4-6 hours

Cooler with Frozen Ice 15 °C- 24 hours

Fridge 0-4°C- 5-8 Days

Freezer -18°C- 4-6 months

Thawed Breast Milk (Previously Frozen)

Room Temperature 19-22 °C - 1-2 hours

Cooler with Frozen Ice 15 °C- Don't Store

Fridge 0-4°C - 24 Hours

Freezer -18°C- Never Refreeze

Tip for Warming or Defrosting breast milk

From the refrigerator: Place in a bowl of warm water or under warm running water

Frozen: Placer in the refrigerator overnight. Use within 24 hour. Never refreeze breast milk.

Do not use hot water or the microware as this can destroy some of the milk's properties.

Fat will rise to the top of the breast milk. Gently swirl to mix. Do not shake

Use within one hour after warming. Discard any breast milk you don't use during a feeding

The Optimal Temperature for water heating is 40-50 °c

Excessive temperature will destroy breast milk nutrition
