Castor Oil comes from the castor seed, Ricinus communis. It is contains no artificial Ingredients. This oil was traditionally used in India, Egypt, China, Persia, Africa and Greece for over 4000 years.
Uses of castor oil:
1. A natural laxative, to ease constipation.
The main fatty acid in castor oil, ricinoleic acid is then absorbed by the intestine, stimulating laxative effect. Bear in mind, drink fluids and stay well hydrated when using laxatives.
For internal use:
i. Drink the amount of castor oil accordingly to the body weight on an empty stomach.
ii. After 15 - 30 minutes, start drinking hot water (like you would sip tea or ginger tea).
iii. Drink the water ( preferably room temperature kefir, Luke honey water, warm himalayan black salt and palm candy water)accordingly to the weight at intervals of 10 - 15 minutes.
2. A natural moisturizer
Humectants in castor oil retain moisture by preventing water loss through the outer layer of the skin and can apply as a natural anti-pigmentation remedy.
3. Promotes wound healing
Castor oil stimulates tissue growth so that a barrier can be formed between the wound and the environment, decreasing the risk of infection.
4. Anti-inflammatory effects
Ricinoleic acid in castor oil help reduce inflammation caused by human rheumatoid arthritis cells which is effective in reduce swelling and pain.
5. Reduces acne
Castor oil has antimicrobial properties that may help fight bacterial overgrowth when applied to the skin.
6. Fight fungus
Antifungal properties and may help fight off Candida, keeping the mouth healthy.
