SUMIRE is exclusively made from an Exotic Purple Bamboo, a rare species of bamboo with beautiful dark purplish brown shades which creates a unique natural pattern on each of our scoops.

[ Golden Chashaku Bamboo Scoop ]

Light and sturdy, this traditional tea scoop is carved from golden bamboo, and engraved with Niko Neko logo.

Recommended to be used together with ASAGAO / Exotic Chasen Bamboo Whisk.

[ How To Use ]

A scoop of SUMIRE / Scoop is equivalent to 0.5g of matcha powder.

For matcha tea preparation, use 2 scoops of SUMIRE, mixed with half cup of warm water (around 85C) and whisk vigorously with our ASAGAO / Chasen Whisk till creamy foam appears.

Recommended to be used together with ASAGAO / Chasen (Bamboo Whisk).
