Product description
A High quality white fluffy, wrinkled cotton crepe bandage with non-fraying edges.
Wash in warm soapy water.
Rinse in fresh warm water and dry on a flat surface without stretching.
1. Prepare the bandage: Ensure the elastic crepe bandage is clean and free from any dirt or debris. Unroll the bandage and check for any tears or damage. If it has metal clips or fasteners, make sure they are securely attached.
2. Position the injured area: Place the injured or affected body part in a comfortable position, ideally elevated if possible, to reduce swelling.
3. Start wrapping: Begin wrapping the bandage below the injured area. Hold the end of the bandage against the skin or secure it with a tape or clip to prevent it from unwinding.
4. Apply tension: While wrapping, apply a moderate amount of tension to the bandage, but avoid making it too tight. The bandage should be snug enough to provide support and compression but not so tight as to restrict circulation or cause discomfort. Ensure the tension is consistent throughout the wrapping process.
5. Overlap the layers: As you continue wrapping, overlap each new layer of the bandage by about half of its width. This helps to ensure even compression and stability. Continue wrapping in a spiral pattern, working your way up towards the injured area.
6. Secure the end: Once you have covered the injured area adequately, secure the end of the bandage with a tape or clip. Make sure it is firmly attached but not too tight.
7. Check for proper fit: After applying the bandage, check for any signs of excessive tightness, such as numbness, tingling, or discoloration in the area below the bandage. If you experience any discomfort, loosen the bandage slightly to restore proper circulation.
8. Monitor and reapply if necessary: Keep an eye on the injured area while wearing the bandage. If you notice increased pain, swelling, or if the bandage becomes loose, reapply the elastic crepe bandage or seek medical attention if needed.
