1. FEATURES OF DVD PLAYER
Comparison of different disc formats:
DVDs are advanced video discs based on MPEG II and digital audio technology. It has become
more popular due to its high-quality picture and cinematic sound effects. This is all compressed
into a single 12cm disc - the same dimension as normal compact disc
2. PREPARING CONNECTIONS
2.1 Check accessories
The following accessories are included with this DVD player. Please check and identify.
REMOTE CONTROL (Batteries not Included); STEREOA/V CABLE; OPENING INSTRUCu0002TIONS; HDMI CABLE
2.2 Batteries installation
Insert two AA batteries (not included) as per the right illustration. Make sure to aim the remote at
the correct angle to the remote sensor on the front panel when using the remote control.
2.3 Connections
Make sure to turn on the power only after all the units are connected correctly.
* Use video jack on TV
* Use S-video jack on TV
3. BASIC OPERATION
Preparation:
Perform the following steps after connections are checked and finished.
(1) Turn on the TV and shift to “VIDEO INPUT”.
(2) Turn on other units such as the audio amplifier or VCR if they are connected.
Turn On:
(1) Press “POWER” switch on the panel. The DVD player will automatically begin reading the
disc if a disc is inserted.
(2) Press “OPEN/CLOSE” button to open the disc tray if there is no disc inside, or if you want to
change the disc.
(3) Put a disc on the disc tray and press the “OPEN/CLOSE” button again to close the disc tray.
The player can read different disc formats, and the information is displayed on the TV screen or
LEP display on front panel.
(4) Then the DVD player will enter different states according to different disc formats.
