Like most species of eucalyptus, Eucalyptus is native to Australia. A very large flowering tree in the myrtle family, Eucalyptus produces fragrant leaves and is also known informally as narrow-leaved peppermint. Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree that grows to the height of over 300 feet, making it one of the world’s tallest trees. It used to be known as a fever tree. There are over 700 varieties of eucalyptus, with over 500 that produce an essential oil. Many of them produce the same actions of Tea Tree and Myrtle essential oils, like all members of the myrtaceae family.

Uses

Diffuse or put a few drops on the hands, place them over the nose, and inhale deeply.

Place one to two drops on the floor of your shower for a spa-like experience.

Add to a carrier oil or lotion during a soothing massage.

Use as an air freshener and room deodorizer.

Directions For Use

Aromatic use: Add three to four drops to the diffuser of your choice.

Topical use: To apply topically, dilute one drop essential oil to 10 drops carrier oil. See additional precautions below.
