Product Description:

FreshTalk (OUKPAK) is an Oxygen Absorber made from a safe, non-toxic material that can help prolong the shelf life of food products. It is also commonly known as oxygen scavengers or oxygen absorbents. It is manufactured using Japanese technology and materials. The four-layer laminated packing allows active oxygen absorption preventing its active powder from coming in direct contact with food.

Benefits of Oxygen Absorber

1. Having oxygen absorbers within a sealed packaging will create an oxygen-free condition of up to 0.1% or lesser.

2. It can prevents changes in the color of food, prevents oils in good from becoming rancid and limits the growth of oxygen aerobic microorganisms such as fungi

3. The use of oxygen absorbers can increase the shelf life of a food product from days to months, retaining flavors, aroma and food quality.

4. It eliminates other conventional packaging methods such as vacuum packaging and gas flushing.

Oxygen Absorber Applications:

1. Commonly used together in food packaging such as bakery products, dehydrated food and nuts, pet food, jerky and processed meat products.

2. It helps to reduce the aerobic environment to minimal oxygen levels and limit bacteria growth.

How much Oxygen Absorber to use?

- The number of packets to use would depend on the oxygen volume of the void space in the packaging.

1. (container volume) – (food volume) = (residual air volume)

2. (residual air volume) X 20% (oxygen level) = cc (oxygen absorber size required)

Example:

Container A volume (14cm X 20cm X 6cm) – food volume (200 gram) = 1480 cc (residual air volume)

Residual air volume (1480 cc) X 20% = 296 cc /2 = 148 cc

30cc Oxygen Absorber can absorb max up 2-3 times its capacity (60cc - 90cc)

Therefore, we would recommend to use 2-3 pieces of 30cc Oxygen Absorber for Container A

Tips on using Oxygen Absorbers:

1. USE IMMEDIATELY after opening the packaging in which the oxygen absorber is packed.

2. NOT RECOMMEND TO REUSE an old oxygen absorber packet.

3. Use together with a high gas food packaging film for optimal protection.

4. DO NOT EAT! DO NOT MICROWAVE!
